Radhika Kunnel
Dr. Radhika Kunnel is a distinguished cancer biologist, regenerative medicine researcher, and practicing attorney with extensive grant evaluation experience for federal and private funding agencies. She earned her Ph.D. in Cancer Biology and completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Regenerative Medicine. As a principal investigator on NIH-funded grants and tenured medical school faculty member, she published extensively and presented at national and international conferences before relocating to Nevada.
Dr. Kunnel later earned her J.D. from UNLV's Boyd School of Law and currently serves as a Deputy Attorney General. Her unique blend of scientific expertise and legal acumen makes her an exceptional evaluator of cross-disciplinary innovation projects.
She has demonstrated strong community leadership, including co-founding the South Asian Women's Alliance of Nevada. A passionate advocate for civic engagement and public service, Dr. Kunnel brings analytical rigor and deep biomedical and regulatory knowledge to her evaluation work while remaining committed to advancing Nevada's biotechnology ecosystem.
